This floral series is dedicated to my beautiful twin sister Remi, who passed away last year.

Flowers are a reminder of the fragility and beauty of life. The natural world can bring a sense of calm amongst the chaos and pain of the modern world.

No two flowers are exactly the same and this is why we must learn to celebrate our uniqueness and differences.

All profits made from the print series will be donated to BreakingFree.Org - which is an innovative Australian mental health charity that educates and encourages people to live mentally healthy lifestyles, in order to prevent mental illness and improve overall mental health. 

“Focusing on teaching people how to make mentally healthy choices, how to form mentally healthy habits and to how to develop a mentally healthy mindset; as well as breaking down the stigma often attached to mental illness and encouraging people to seek help early.”

I only wish there had been a charity like this around when I was at school. I also wish there was less stigma attached to mental illness and suicide, because sometimes people don’t express their suicidal thoughts or reveal their deepest feelings, from fear of being labeled or institutionalised.
